With a view to encourage original writing in Hindi on the subjects of Economics/ Finance/Banking and general interest, Reserve Bank of India conducts an Inter-bank Hindi Essay Competition every year. All Officers and Staff Members (Except Rajbhasha Officers and Translators) of Reserve Bank of India and Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) sponsored by them, can participate in this competition. For the competition to be held for the year 2026-27 the topic is as under:
Participants are requested to send their essay in Hindi on the above topic in soft copy only via email. The last date for submission is June 01, 2026 (Monday). 2. The rules including details of various language groups for the competition are given in Annex ‘A’, while the format of the Certificate to be submitted by the participating officers/employees is given in Annex ‘B’. For each language group winners will be awarded ₹14,000, ₹10,000, ₹8,000 and ₹3,000 respectively for First, Second, Third and two Consolation prizes. 3. Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) sponsored by them are requested to bring the above information to the notice of all Officers and Staff members employed in their Bank.
